Konstantina Olioumtsevits has a background in linguistics and completed her PhD at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece), specializing in second language learning and teaching in populations with a migrant and refugee background. With a passion for breaking down linguistic barriers, in her current postdoctoral position as a member of the Aalto Machine Learning Research Group, she works in developing and translating a machine learning dictionary, which can be used as a specialized information, reference, learning, and teaching resource in the field.
