Mikko Kuusakoski
📖 Bio
Mikko Kuusakoski is the Chief Information Officer of Jatke Oy. For the last four years, Mikko has been building the digital Jatke 2.0 development program, which included cloud transformation and integration of IT and operative systems as well as implementing analytics and low code application platforms. Mikko also represents Jatke in the Confederation of Finnish Construction Industries Digital Group and in Aalto University Building 2030 Consortium. Before Jatke, Mikko has worked in the listed construction company YIT Oyj for over a decade, working in project development and land management for years before moving to start and lead the data and analytics function for the company. Before the construction sector, Mikko was an analyst for a Nordic property fund Genesta with over 800 million EUR of fund assets at the time. Mikko has a Master’s degree in Real Estate Economics and is a long-standing member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS). In Aalto University, he is working part time on his Computer Science Ph.D. on applying machine learning in the property and construction industry. Mikko was awarded the Data Driven Manager award by Innolink in 2022 and the title of Excel Champion of Finland by Microsoft in 2016.
